Greendale Club Race The Greendale Cycling Club held its first race of the teason on Saturday last, the distance being about 12J miles. Conditions ou the whole were good, the greater part of the course covered being in good older, and favoured the making of good time. There was a good field, and a solid pace was set from the start. J . Fleming (3 min, 30 secs.) was first, completing the counte in 35 min. 19 secs. V. Engert, one of the youngest competitors, with a start of 3 min. 15 secs., was the second to cross the finishing line and B. Christian (3 min. 30 secs.) was third. The fastest time was made by D. Convery (45 secs ), who negotiated the distance in the excellent time of 33 min, 15 2-5 see».
