The weather was fine and the going somewhat heavy for the City Tattersails race meeting held at Randwick to-day. Results: — FLYING HANDICAP. 6 furlongs. BUOYEO 6.8 (Ward) 1 Highboy 7.0 (Hanley) 2 Calebrate 7.12 (Lightfoot) 3 Thirteen started, including Silver Jubilee (9.0) who finished fourth. Won by a length, third back three-quarters of a length. Time, 1.141. JAMES BARNES PLATE. 11 furlongs. RIVALLI Mr W. Tanwan’s br. g„ by Rivolo—No. 4 Oyru 8.9 (Maxwell) I Braeburii Mr E. T. Walker’s b. h, by Silvius —Leading Lady syrs 8.3 (D. Seratchmere Scat was fifth entering the straight and ran right away from the field to win by four lengths, third two lengths back. Time, 1.401. Money Spi (N.Z.) was fourth and Viceroy (N.Z.-bred) ninth in the two-year-old Handicap in which there were 15 starters.

Shining Gold (N.Z.) finished fourth in the Keera Welter, while Hit the Deck was unplaced in the Brunswick Steeples.
