MAX BAER INJURED

Powder Burn on Chest WASHINGTON, May 10. At Asbury Park, New Jersey, Max Baer, who is training there, received s painful powder burn on his chest when he accidentally discharged a pistol containing a blank cartridge during the rehearsal of a playlet.

Baer was ordered to bed because of the nervous shock, although ho is not seriously hurt. Officials announce that there is no likelihood of postponement of the bout with Braddock on June 13.
