Aircraft constructors are displaying much interest in tho latest type of British Bristol-Pegasus engine, which yields over 100 horse power for every cylinder—92o horse power in all—and which is said to make a remarkable advance in aero-engine design. The engine has the same volume and practically the same weight as the Jupiter type still iu use in many military craft, which lias a maximum output of 525 horse power. Tho new engine has just passed the 100 hours typo test of tho Air Ministry and will be in full production next year.
