AIR RAID DEFENCE

Drastic Measures in Britain

LONDON, May 10.

When the air defences of Britain are debated on May 22, the Government will announce drastic plans for the protection of civilians in air raids. Thev w-ill include compulsory drill for adults and children in the wearing of gas masks, and compulsory black out of all lights in towns and cities, as was done in Germany.
