MATTHEWS-ASTAIRE TEAM
Jessie Matthews has been offer-?? £12,500 to play in one picture with Fred Astaire in Hollywood. The off?: has been made by Radio Pictures, who are looking for a new team of dancing stars. The Gaumont-British Company which has Miss Matthews under a three-year contract, was willing to re lease Miss Matthews if Fred Astaire would appear with her first at their own studios in London. Bo far, no deal has been settled.
