FAREWELL FUNCTION

Visit to Old Country

A pleasant little function took place at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. F. Apperley, Havelock road, on Wednesday evening, when a small presentation was made to Airs. C. Apperley on the eve of her departure for the Old Country. Airs. Apperley’s little granddaughter, Kathleen Apperley. presented her with an ebony walking stick, suitably inscribed.

Among those present were: Mrs. Me Keesick, Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Begley Mr. and Airs. L. Drown, Mr. and Airs W. Vernon, Messrs. H. Apperley, H Duckett, N. Palenski and others.
