Witness asked the medical superintendent, Dr. Ryan, about the affair, ana Dr. Ryan admitted that there was a fair amount of drink and much horse play, which he treated lightly. Witness then invited Dr. Ryan to go on his holidays. Dr. Ryan asked: Does that mean my resignation? and witness replied: Yes, you had better put in your resignation. Dr, Ryan and two other doctors Rutland and Bland, forthwith tendered their resignations. The hearing was adjourned.
