Flooding in Wellington By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 17. Torrential rain fell in showers from 10.30 a.m. till about about mid-day at Wellington to-day. There was some Hooding of the streets, especially in Courtenay Place, Willis street, and Lambton Quay. In Willis street the water came up to the doors of shops. Minor slips occurred in various cuttings, and road surfaces were affected, but no damage of consequence was reported.
