Method; Peel the apples and slice them into a buttered piedish, sprinkling the sugar over them. Make the batter as follows: Beat the eggs tc a foam, add the sifted flour and salt, beating vigorously, stir in enough milk to make it the consistency of thick cream. Pour over the apples and bake about three-quarters of an hour in a moderate oven.
