H.B. MOTOR RALLY

♦ One at Mardi Gras Time In the wake of the recent and successful motor rally organised by the Automobile Association (Wanganui), Dr. W. D. Fitz Gerald suggested to tho Hawke’s Bay association yesterday afternoon that in tho event of Wanganui's not holding another rally in February 1936, the Hawke's Bay association should run one during the 1935 Mardi Gras. The suggestion was endorsed. Dr. Fitz Gerald said that the Wanganui association rally was very successful. If Wanganui ran another in February of next year, Hawke’s Bay should consider running one in the following December. Failing Wanganui’s holding one in February, Hawke’s Bay should organise one at the time of the Mardi Gras in December of this year. He moved to that end, and was supported by .Mr R. F. Kay. The motion was put to the meeting, and carried.
