Weber Meeting

At the annual meeting of the Weber , Women s Institute an average number j of members were present. ’1 he presi- j dent read the report and welcomed now members and visitors, following which business was discussed and new officers were elected. Mrs Reisima was re-elected unanimously as president. The vice-presidents are Mrs | Crooks and Miss Stewart; secretary. Mrs Latta; press correspondent, Miss Stewart. The i nminder of the committee are Mesdames W. G. Franklin, Hall, King, Win. Franklin, G. Hales, and Jensen. The points prize for the past year was won by .Mrs 1). McLean. Arrangements were made for the annual bazaar in aid of hall funds, to take place on April 12. A colli ction uas made of exhibits for the display in Dannevirke on March 7, and many clever works were produced During the afternoon Mrs G. Hales and .Miss Shephard rendered some charming pianoforte- solos which were much appreciated. The roll call for simple breakfast dishes proved original. The hostesses, Mesdames C. Crossb i and Mcßeth, served a dainty after- | noon tea, after which the singing of ! the national anthem brought a I pleasant afternoon to a close.
