Pirates Club’s Meeting The Pirate Football Club, Napier, held its annual general meeting iu the club's gymnasium, McLean Park, last evening, presided over by the president, Mr B. Tweedie. There was a largo attendance of members. The annual report (already published) and balance sheet were read and adopted. The latter revealed an excess of assets over liabilities amounting to £336 7/-. Twenty-four new members were elected. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr W. Corbett; vicepatron, Mr E. T. Rees; president, Mr I;. Tweedie; vice-yresidents-. Messri IL H. Douglas, E. A. Young, F. Clay, 11. L. Dine, H. 11. Wylie, N. Kivell, A. Jensen; club captain Air L. Rhodes; custodian, Mr G. Marshall; physical instructor, Serg.-Major G. 11. Kearney; honorary auditor, Mr G. C. Laws; honorary secretary, Mr F. A. Foote; honorary treasurer, Air J. W. Laws; delegates to H.8.R.U., Messrs B. Tweedie and E. A. Young; committee, Messrs J. Gunn, G. Hyde, D. Dowrick, J. Findlay, J. Graham, R. Keeble, J. AlcNarama. In the course of general business the club decided to begin training on Tuesday, Alarch 18. Training nights are to be. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Annual subscriptions were fixed as follow:—Seniors, 7/6; juniors, 5/-; lower grades, 3/6. An anonymous enthusiast has donated a complete set of gear to the member who introduces the most fourth grade players.
