CHURCH SERVICES

The services in the Havelock North Presbyterian Church will bo conducted by the Rev. R. Waugh morning and evening al Havelock and afternoon at Poukawa. Mr, Finnimore will conduct a service nt Clive at 11 a.m. The service at the Storiford Lodge Undenominational Mission Hall on .Sunday evening will be conducted by Mr. Butcher. A hearty invitation is extended to all to come along and bring a friend. Everybody welcome. The subject of the address in the United Hull on Sunday night will be “Evolution: An Improved Theory contradicting the truth of the Bible Plan of Salvation.’’ All interested uro invited and opportunity for quest ions will be given. Harvest Festival services will be held morning and evening in the Baptist Church, to-morrow. At 11 a m. Rev. C. B. Boggis will preach on the subject “Daily Bread.” For the 7 p.m. service the topic of the address is “Can we believe in province?” There will be special harvest anthems by the choir at both services. A hearty invitation is issued to all to attend. Tho quarterly Communion service will be held in St. Andrew’s Church tomorrow at 11 a.m. There will also be a supplementary Communion service at the close of the evening service for those unablo to attend in the morning. Subject of the evening address; “Going through Life in a Blazer.” Retir ing offertories for mission funds. Hospital service at 6 p.m. Evening service relayed to Mahora as usual. Services will be conducted in the Hastings Methodist Church to-morrow as follows: Morning, Student Les Norwell of “Trinity” College, Auckland and evening, the Rev. .1. A. Daglish of Napier who will also render a solo. The morning anthem "ill be “There is a Green Hill Far Away” and the evening anthem “The Lost Chord.” Ail are heartily invited to these bright services. The services in the Salvation Army Citadel this Sunday will be conducted by Adjutant and Mrs. Montgomery ami will be of an evangelistic nature. Singing will also be a feature. Everybody is assured of a good sing. Messages on prayer, holiness and salvation will be delivered at 7 a.m., 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. The non churchgoer i.i specially invited to these people’s services. At 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. services, will be held in the Heretaunga Street Hall for young people. In the Whakatu Hall at 7 p.m. Envoy and Mrs. Hiekmott will conduct a service for the residents of Whakatu and district. At St. Matthew ’s Church there "ill be celebrations of the Holy Communion at 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. There will be n > Sunday School at 19 a.m..
