Hastings, to-morrow evening to consider niattcis relating to the North Island Council. rhe second annual trulls of the Okawa Maiden Sheep Dog Trial Club will take place on the property of Messrs. Jones and IL Richmond at Kawera, Fernhill, on Friday and Saturday Marell 8 and 9. A dance will be held under the auspices of the club on Friday night, March 8. The combined picnic which is run by the River Board unemployed and Labour Party combined, which was postponed from last. Sunday, will now lie held next Sunday. There will bo ice cream and soft drinks free for children ; races galore lor adults and children and also a baby show will be held. Everybody is invited and lorries will leave from the Trades Hall, Hastings.
