Tomato Jam Ingredients: 81bsi. tomatoes, 6 lemons, brewer’s crystals. Method: Cut the tomatoes (green) into slices, peel the lemons as thin as possible and cut the peel into shreds. Squeeze the juice of the lemons and add together with three-quarters of a pound of brewer's crystals to every pound of sliced fruit and boil until it sets. Oranges may be used instead of lemons, or half and half.
