SUSTAINED KISSES

Prohibited in Paris Parks PARIS, Feb. 25. Prolonged kissing, like that depicted in Hollywood films, will be strongly •oppressed in future in Paris public parks. The Minister of Fine Arts, controlling the parks, has instructed the police to prosecute offending couples. An official explained that the order was issued as a result of requests by hundreds of mothers who are scandalised by these sights when taking children for walks in the gardens. Kissing in public is not an offence in France provided it is a quick “goodbye.”
