Bicycle Forks Collapse Painful injuries were received yesterday by a boy named Colin Summers, Who lives with his parents in Mayfair • venue, when the front forks of a bicycle which he was riding broke and caused him to be thrown heavily on to the bitumen in Heretaunga street Hast. It is stated that the bicycle was bought new: only five months ago. The boy received rather severe concussion, •nd his face and jaw were badly lacerated. Ke was taken into a shop in the Municipal Buildings and received tnedical attention, after which he was able to be taken home. His condition this morning was reported to be satisfactory.
