Estate valued at £‘30,000 was left bj Victor Clement Black, aged 14, a wellknown city manufacturer, who was recently found gassed in his office. On the door of the room in which he committed suicide he left a note warning people of the danger of gas. At the inquest Black’s brother gave evidence that deceased's wife died in December as the result of an overdose of a sleeping draught. Her death was a great shock to her husband.
