PROSECUTOR AND COUNSEL

Tbe unusual spectacle of father and son appearing in the respective roles of prosecutor and defending counsel was witnessed in an Auckland suburban Police Court on Monday. The father, as sergeant in charge of the police district, appeared as prosecutor in a case which had arisen in the area under his supervision.
