REHABILITATION LOANS

On Thursday a telegram of thanks was sent by tho Napier Chamber of Commerce to Messrs A E. Jull, W. E. Barnard and 11. M. Campbell, M.P.’s, expressing appreciation of the president and executive for the efforts of the three Parliamentarians concerning rehabilitation loans Last night, at the monthly meeting of the Chamber, the president, Mr Haskell Anderson, said ho believed something had been achieved bv the deputation which went down to Wellington last week, and stated its case before the Bills Committee of the House. Mr M. S. Spence, who was one of the deputation, said that they had recieved a good hearing, but so far tho preliminaries ouly had been announced.
