NEGLIGENT DRIVING
Fine of £lOO Imposed By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMERSTON N., October 26. Found guilty of negligent driving, thereby causing death, an insurance agent, Edward Saville Lyall Esdale, was fined in the Supremo Court £lOO and was disqualified from holding a licence for 12 months. The accused is also to pay the costs of the prosecu tion. £29. The case was a sequel to a fatal collision between two ears at a street intersection, a young woman, Miss Katherine Harding, suffering a crushed head.
