THRILLING EXPERIENCE

Plane in Meteor Shower SAN FRANCISCO, September 28. Driving head-on at an altitude of 1000 feet into a great shower of meteors, some of which exploded with sufficient force to rock the ship, a crowded New York-San Francisco aeroplane participated in a thrilling sky jaunt at dawn today,.

Another meteor of giant size explod ed directly in the path of tho 'plant in a burst of light, illuminating the sky for a considerable distance. The meteor was visible from the ground below, where it was reported by one observer a* an unknown aeroplane that had fallen in flames.
