At St. Matthew’s Church to-morrow there will be celebrations of the Holy Communion at 7 a.m. and 8 a.m.; also at Mahora School at 7.30 a.m. Communicants who did not attend last Sunduy or on &t. Mutthcw’s Du-y aio iu quested to come to-morrow and to bring their curds in order 'to register their attendance so us to have their names on the parish roll of communicant's. Hymns tor the festival of St. Michael and All Angels have been selected for matins and evensong, which are at the usual hours. Holy Baptism will be at 3 p.m. and a service will be held at the hospital at 6 p.m. Evensong also will be held at 7 p.m. at St. Barnabas’, Parkvale, and an afternoon service at Twyford School at 2 p.m. The anthem at the parish church will be “O How Amiable are Thy Dwellings Thou Lord of Hosts.” The services in the Havelock North Presbyterian Church to-morrow will be conducted by Rev. R. B. Waugh, morning and evening. A service will be conducted by the Rev. Mr. Waugh at Clive in the afternoon. At. St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Market street, the Rev. George Miller will conduct all services to-mor-row. At 11 a.m. the subject will be, “The Expulsive Power of a New Affection,” and; the anthem “He Watereth the Hills.” At 7 p.m. the subject will be, “Though He Slay Me, Yet Will I Trust Him.” Thon anthem, “Through Peace to Light,” will be sung. If you enjoy a good heart-to-heart talk about spiritual tilings, come along to the people's services b.n Sunday in the Salvation Army Citadel, Warren street, Hastings. Adjutant and Mrs. Montgomery will lead these gatherings at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Singing of favourite hymns by the. congregation will be a feature, and the congregation will be able to select their favourites. The evening subject is entitled ‘‘Man’s Need of a Refuge.” To-morrow the Hastings Methodist Church special spring flower services will be held, when all are invited to bring along gifts, large or small, of flowers, which will on the Monday be. distributed at the public hospitals in Hastings and Napier. The subjects for discussion by 'the Rev. R. B. Gosnell will be: Morning, “Lessons from His Gifts of Love” (anthem, “King All Glorious”); evening, “The Supreme Picture of the Ages” (anthem, “O Give Thanks”; solo, “O Rest in the Lord,” Miss M. Cunnold). There will be tbe usual congregational singing at both services and a hearty invitation is extended to all to attendl “Minding One’s Own Business” will be the subject of the address to be given at to-morrow evening's service in the Baptist Church, Karamu road south, the preacher being the Rev. C. B. Boggis. At this service the ordinance of believers’ baptism will be observed. The solo, “Take My Life” (Jude), will be sung by Miss V. Choules. At the morning service at 11 Mr Boggis will speak on “The Brands of the Lord Jesus.” There will be anthems by the choir and a hearty invitation is given to everyone to attend 'these services. At Pukahu a service will be held 1 at 2.30 p.m. The speaker at the Stortl'ord Lodge Undenominational Mission Hall to-mor-row evening will be Mr. Allen Tucker, who has been accepted for the general mission in Egypt. All those interested arc cordially invited to come along and bring a friend. The address in the United Hall, Hastings, on Sunday night will bo on the subject “The Sacrifice of Christ: Why it was made and who will benefit by it.” The popular idea of the “substitutionary atonement” will be examined in the course of the address
