TO-DAY’S TURF NEWS

NAPIER PARK CLUB

Splendid Fields Face Starter

FIRST EVENT TO KOTOW

The Napier Park Racing Club's spring meeting was held in fine weather at Greenmeadows to-day, but conditions were made a little unpleasant by a high westerly wind which swept across tile grounds. The grounds were in attractive order and the racing track itself in splendid condition. Very satisfactory fields faced the starter, and the public were treated to some excellent racing. The arrangements for the meeting were in the capable hands of the secretary (Mr J. E. Gleadow) and his officials, and the events were got away well to time.
