HONEY TOFFEE. Ingredients: 2 breakfastcups of sugar, J small cup water, essence of lemon, 9 tablespoons honey, 2 ozs. butter. Method: Put all the ingredients except the essence of lemon into the saucepan. Stir until the mixture boils and stir occasionally until a little tried in water becomes crisp.. Add the essence and stir once. If stirred too much it will become sugary. Pour into a greased tin, mark into squares before it is quite cold.
