LICENSED VICTUALLERS’ TOURNEY RESULTS OF FIRST DAY'S PLAY. The annual golf tournament of the North Island Licensed Victuallers’ Association was opened at Waiohiki yesterday in perfect golfing conditions. The tournament is being continued today. Yesterday’s results were as follow: — PRESIDENT’S TROPHY.

TROPHY WINNERS. Trophies were won as follows:— Tui Stroke Championship Cup: Win ner, J. N. Anderson (Hawera); runnerup, E. Manley (Wanganui). D.C.L. Shield; Winner, A. Jensen (Napier); runner-up, E.
