ABBOTSFORD LODGE
MEETING AT WAIPAWA

WAIPAWA, Sept 15
The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Abbotsford Lodge, M.U.1.0.0.F., was held in the Lodge-room, Kenilworth street, Waipawa, last evening, N.G. Bro. \V. J. Harris presiding over a fair attendance of members.
Accounts totalling £lB 2/-, and sick pay amounting to £l9 were passed for pa} nicnt.
Two candidates were preposed for membership. Lecture-Master Bro. H. W. Gallagher delivered the first, second and fourth degrees to the eligible members.
The Noble Grand intimated that the lodge ■ would meet the Waipukurau Foresters’ Lodge in a bowling tournament on Tuesday next, September 18. At the conclusion of the meeting, supper was served by the social committee and the indoor bowls were brought into use.
