People’s Gospel gatherings, with singing of old und new songs and choruses, accompanied by soulful music, will be conducted by Adjutant Allan Montgomery in the Salvation Army Citadel, Hastings, on Sunday, at 7 and 11 a.m. and 7 p in. ‘‘Holiness’’ will be the subject for the inornmg, and “The Power of the Gospel” will be the theme for the evening. A short, bright service will also be held at Whakatu at 7 p.m., conducted by Commandant Cook. A welcome awaits all at these services. Miss Rona Sutton, of Hastings, who was successful in passing her theoretical examination IA.T'.C.L.I. Rudiments, marks 90, is a pupil of Miss A. Scott, 76 Carlyle street, Napier.
