Correspondence in connection with the death of a returned soldier and allegations made against, the Southland Hospital Board were considered by the board in committee to-day. Later it was announced that the board had ap proved of tho action of its finance committee in asking tho Department, of Health to have a full inquiry into the facts connected with the man’s illness and subsequent death.
