New Commissioner for N.Z. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 14. National headquarters of the Salvation Army received a cable message yesterday advising that Colonel Fred Adams is to bo territorial commander for New Zealand, in succession to Commissioner John Cunningham, with the rank of lieutenant-commissioner. All that is known uf the new commissioner al Dominion headquarters is that bo is an Englishman by birth, ami all hi# service has been in Great Britain, where ho has served successively as field officer, divisional commander, field secretary, and chief secretary.
