CHAIRMAN'S THANKS

After the close of the business at last evening’s meeting of tho Taradulo Town Board, the chairman, Mr J. Williamson, thanked members for the support they had accorded him during tho past term. Tho harmonious manner in which tho board’s affairs had been conducted had made it a pleasure to him to occupy the chair.

Ho briefly outlined the work carried out by the board during the last two years, stating that members had every reason to feel gratified at tho largo amount accomplished. The works included improvements to tho camping ground, which would soon become one of tho beauty spots in tho whole of the district.

Ho also paid a tribute to the assist anve given him by the clerk, Mr W. G Jarvis.

On behalf of the members, Mr F. 0. Anderson extended thanks and appreciation to the chairman, and stated that tho amiable spirit that had predominated had been largely duo to the chairman’s leadership, and he trusted that he would continue to use. his administrative abilities in the interests of the. district.
