THE HASTINGS CLUB BOCEY HANDICAP RESULT. The following is the result of the bogey handicap played on the Hastings Club’s links yesterday:— H. Kitt, all square. R. Plummer, all square. J. TOURNEY AT NAPIER. Sixty entries for the third annual golf tournament of the North Island Licensed Victuallers' Golf Association have already been received by Mr G. B. Menzies, the Napier representative of the association. This tournament will be played on the Waiohiki links next Monday and Tuesday There are more than 40 prizes covering the 27 events, and tho organisation, which lies at the back of this tournaineat is an object-lesson in efficiency.

Tho programme has been so arranged that it may be divided into three sections — retailers, wholesalers, and others. Tho last-named was included so that friends of members of the association might participate in the competition. Last year the tournament was held at Wanganui, and tho contestants had such a jolly time that many golfing friends of members asked if they might be allowed to play. Tho result is that the entries have increased, and it is anticipated that good golf, as well as good-fellowship, will follow hi tho course of this year’s tournament and conference.

On Tuesday night tho delegates are to hold a dinner, at which the Mayor of Napier, Mr 0. 0. Morse, has been asked to attend. If Mr Morse is able to ho there he will present prize-winners with their trophies, which comprise a good selection of shields, cups and rose bowls.
