Recognition of Police Work By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, September 13. In the House of Representatives this afternoon, Mr A. J. Stallworthy (Eden, Independent') asked ttie Minister of Justice whether he had yet given effect to representations made by Auckland citizens that some tangible acknowledg meat should be made to those members of the Police Force whose special services in connection with the Rua waro murder case were deserving n ’■ecognition. The Hon. J. G. Cobbe replied that no representations had been made, but the department had not overlooked the matter, rind it was receiving attention.
