TO-DAY’S RECIPE

RASPBERRY BUNS. Ingredients: 1 cup flour, 1 cup ground rice, 1 cup sugar, Jib. melted butter, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoonful cream of tartar, -J teaspoonful bicarbonate of soda, J teaspoonful salt, a little milk or cream. Method: Put the dry ingredients in a basin, make a hole in the centre and into this pour the eggs, well beaten, with a little milk or cream and the melted butter. Mix into a stiff dough and make into round buns, then push a hole in the centre of each and fill it with about a teaspoonful of raspberry jam.. Bake for 15 or 20 minutes.
