Prices Remain Firm
SYDNEY, September 10.
At the wool sales 8982 bales were offered and 7811 sold; also 1195 privately. There was good competition from Japan and Yorkshire and increased demand from Continental sections. Prices were firm and unchanged at last week’s closing rates. Greasy Merino fleece went to l-5Jd. for five bales from Boomi.
