1000 Miles by Dog Sledge

(British Official Wireless.) (Received 11, 12.45 p.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 10.

The Lindsay Arctic expedition arrived at Angmagssalyk, Greenland, on Saturday after a 1000-mile journey by dog sledge across the Greenland ice-cap.

The leader of this British Arctic expedition is Lieutenant Martin Lindsay and he had only two companions on the perilous journey. The expedition is engaged in further exploration of the mountainous area, which entailed crossing at its widest part the ice-cap, which is about 9,000 feet high.
