HAUMOANA

Last evening at tho residence of Mr and Mrs G. 11. Smith, Tukituki, a most enjoyable *'<soo” card party was held, in spite of tho adverse weather conditions quite a largo crowd of enthusiastic card players attended. The winners of the cards were: Ladies, Airs Lowe 1, Mrs Hayward 2; gentlemen, Mr Kcong I, Mr Manning 2. Mrs Anderson was thanked for donating a prize. At the finish of the cards a most enjoyable supper was handed round. The proceeds from this function were in aid of tho Haumoana Tennis Club. Mrs Reid, of Haumoana, has left on a holiday visit to Rotorua and Auckland.
