News from the Far North states that a drowning tragedy occurred in Whanguroa harbour lat<- on Moudai night, wlien Winstone Dmigcn. one of two youths in a launch. climbed the must to fix the sail, causing the criitt to capsize in a rough sea, throwing the occupants into the water. Dangen managed to regain the launch after an arduous struggle, but the other youth, Albert Vincent Frear, aged about 17. disappeared and has not boon seen since.
