Germany and Manchester (British Official Wireless.) (Received 22, 12.30 p.iu.) RUGBY, Aug. 21. The German yarn tariffs committee stated after a, meeting in Manchester that the position in regard to the outstanding debts problem with Germany remained unaltered. It is generally agreed that it is impossible to resume business until satisfactory proposals for the liquidation of outstanding debts have been received. It was decided on August 10 last that firms would not make delivery or cuter into any further business pending a favourable outcome of the negotiations, and the trade has unanimously observed this agreement.
