Frozen meat quotations at the Smithfield market are:— New Zealand sheep.— Canterbury and North Island selected crossbred wethers and maiden ewes, 65 to 72 lbs 5 1-86; North Island, 65 to 72 lbs 5 l-8d; ewes, under 48 lbs 4 3-Bd, 48 to 64 lbs 4d. Patagonian sheep Wethers and/or Biaiden ewes, under 50 lbs 4Jd. Australian lambs.— Victorian, second quality, 36 lbs and under 6 3-8 d; All Elates, third quality, average about 26 lbs 7 l-4d. Argentine lambs.— First quality, 37 to 42 lbs 6 l-4d, second quality, average about 28 ]bs 7 l-4d. Patagonian lambs— First quality, 36 lbs and under 6 5-Bd. second quality, average about 30 lbs 6|d. New Zealand frozen heef.— Ox feres, 160 to 220 Ihs 2 l-4d; ox hinds. 15<’ to 220 lbs 3 l-4d. Australian frozen beef. — Ox hinds, •ver 160 lbs 3 3-Sd.
