BOXING TROPHIES

ON VIEW IN HASTINGS. Trophies for the forthcoming New Zealand amateur boxing championships, are coming to hand. Mr Stickland, the secretary, has received the lollowing trophies, which were on view to-day in the window of Popplewell and Co., Ltd., Russell street, Hastings:—The Morgan Cup, valued at £5O, to be presented to the welterweight champion; tho Jamieson Belt, valued at £lOO, to be given to the most scientific lioxer taking part in the championships; and the ‘Parisian” Cup, to bo won by the champion of the lightweight division. All these trophies have been forwarded by the New Zealand Boxing Council.
