C. List, of Now Plymouth, who died yesterday in Wellington (sec page 6). Among those present were the "rime Minister the lit. Hon. G. W. Forbes, the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. 11. Masters; also Mr W. Nash,

M.P., the president of the Wellington < notary v'iuu, Ail' F. Campbell, and a large body oi members, also a number of representatives ot tbe pi ess, including me manager ol Ute Hess Association, .Ur A. Lane. Ino clnei mourner was Mr J. W. C. List, ot I'ctone, one ot his brothers, file pall-bearers were past presidents oi the Wellington Rotary Club. Canon James paid a tribute to the lute Mr List .as a man of strong, attractive personality and sincere character, who had done much in valuable service tor tho people. Mr List, he said, had died in harness. Nearest his heart was the welfare* oi crippled children, and to tins the lust few months of his tile was clnefiy devoted.
