“SONG OF MY HEART”

Picture-goers of Hastings will be pleased to bear that a return season of the ever-popular film, “Song of My Heart,” featuring the famous Irish tenor, John McCormack, is to take place in Hastings at an early date. Although it is some years since the picture was first screened in this country, its continued popularity wherever it is screened proves again that this type of film has a never-failing appeal to the picture public. In the picture John McCormack sings eleven songs, notable among them being “The Rose of Tralee” and “1 Hear You Calling Me.” However, McCormack is not the only character in the film and the picture has quite a pleasing story. The feminine lead is taken by Maureen O'Sullivan.
