Reduction in Auckland By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, August 17. The price of milk to consumers was reduced from 5d to 4jd by a decision of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council to-day. The new price will rule for the four months from September 1. The price to be paid to the dairyman at the farm gate is 7Jd a gallon, and for treatment, including pasteurisation, collec tion, storage and delivery 2Jd.
