TAKAPAU CHURCH FUNDS. From Our Own Correspondent. TAKAPAU, August 1. The Waipawa amateur theatrical society played to a fair house on Tuesday evening when they staged the “Sunny Spain’’ revue in the Takapau Public Hall. The entertainment was in aid of St. Mark’s Church funds From the raising of the curtain to the final chorus there was not a dull minute and the audience was thoroughly appreciative of a pertorniance dressing was especially good. it. the close of the nert'ormalicf Mr 5. Tilley. on behalf of St. Marls’s v.-stn propos'd a very heart y vote of thanks t > the company and also thanked the audience for the support accorded to the entertainment. Before returning to Waipawa the company and friends wero entertained to a delightful supper.
