OBITUARY
Mr. John Sturrock Hie death occurred at Takapuna, Auckland, last week of Mr. John Slur* reek, who lor 19 years was engineer to tlu? Hawera Borough Council. Mr. Sturrock, who was born in Troon, Scot, land, was for a tune engineer to the Napier Borough Council and later hold a similar position at Invercargill. He was keenly interested in music, especially orchestral music, and he was a good violinist. He was also a keen golfer.
