A protest alleging an irregularity in the conduct of the election of the To Awa School Committee at the statutory householders' meeting last Wednesday night has been lodged with the secretary of the Hawke’s Hay Education Board, Mr W. L. Dunn. It will be considered at the next meeting of the board. The following committee was elected at the meeting: Messrs Lott (ehairman), M. J. Hayhurst, W. Brady, Aislabie, F. IVorkman, F. Bur. ton, A. Reid, J. Cowley, F. Powell and IV. 8011. The protest asks that the election as conducted he declared null and ruid.
