DUCHESS OF YORK

Gift of Radio Cabinet The Duchess of York has accepted a ra'dio cabinet made of Queensland walnut, as a token of gratitude for the increased trade in Australian woods as the result of her interest. The cabinet is of modernist design, with chromium fittings, and is being exhibited in the window of the office of the Queensland Agent-General, before presentation by the acting AgentGeneral for Queensland, Mr. L. H. Pike, after the Duchess returns from Windsor on May 11. The Premier of Queensland, Mr. Forgan Smith, probably will arrive in England in time to attend.
