Japanese Arrangement (Received 3, 1.30 p.m.) THE HAGUE, May 2. It is reported that a Japanese aluminium company operating in Formosa has agreed to take nearly 24,000 tons of bauxite a. year, yielding 6,000 tons of aluminium, from the Dutch Nibam Company working deposits on the island of Bmtang, near Singapore, enabling Japan to be largely independent of America in the preparation of aluminium for aeroplanes.
